莉莉安·达尼诺的《情侣拥抱》，在Artethic画廊展出

一个男人拥抱一个女人，亲吻她的脸颊。女人向后仰，靠着他。看不清楚他们的面部表情。男人似乎很享受这种亲密关系。至于女人，更难解释她对这种状况感到满意还是很痛苦？

莉莉安在这部作品中留下了模糊性，或者说暧昧。我们无法确定他们之间关系的性质：会让他们极度窒息吗？她失去了力量，他支持她吗？或者，他们的关系是窒息和支持的混合？艺术家做出这个选择不是为了迷惑我们，而是为了询问：我们最大的问题是什么？

这种关系对每个人来说都可能是一个复杂的话题。艺术家创作的这一模糊的场景，呼应了我最近在生活中的一个启示：人际关系中最大的问题是我们认为我们理解，但实际上根本不理解。这适用于所有关系。让我们始终以这件作品为例，我们看到这两个人之间存在误会的可能性，但真正的陷阱是观众和这对男女之间的误会，以及不同观众之间的误会。

« Couple Étreinte » de Liliane DANINO, exposée à la galerie ArtEthic

Un homme serre une femme dans ses bras, et il l’embrasse sur la joue. La femme se penche en arrière vers lui. On ne voit pas très clairement leurs expressions faciales. L’homme semble apprécier cette intimité. En ce qui concerne la femme, c’est plus difficile à l’interpréter. Elle se contente de cette connexion ou bien elle souffre énormément ?

Liliane a laissé l’ambiguïté dans cette œuvre. On ne peut pas être sûr de la nature de leur connexion : il l’étouffe extrêmement ? Elle perd sa force et il la soutient ? Ou encore, leur connexion est un mélange d’étouffement et de soutien ? L’artiste a fait ce choix exprès pas pour nous confondre mais pour poser une question : quel est le plus grand problème pour nous ?

La relation est effectivement un sujet compliqué pour tous. Cette scène floue réalisée par l’artiste fait écho à une révélation que j’ai eu dans la vie récemment : Le plus grand problème dans les relations, c’est que l’on croit comprendre mais en réalité pas du tout. Cela s’applique à toutes les relations. Prenons toujours cette œuvre comme exemple, on voit qu’il y a une possibilité d’incompréhension entre ces deux personnes. Mais le vrai écueil, c’est l’incompréhension entre le spectateur et ce couple, et celles entre les différents spectateurs.

Je pense qu’il y a certains parmi vous qui avez déjà une envie forte de vous exprimez après le premier paragraphe : c’est clairement un homme abusif et comment vous pouvez défendre un tel acte dans votre critique ? Je vous invite à décortiquer vos émotions et répondre à cette question : comment une conclusion si ferme a été tirée uniquement basée sur une scène ?

Avec cette œuvre, Liliane nous montre que comprendre est une tâche difficile, prenante et exigeante. En revanche, il est plus simple et tentant de juger, attaquer et éventuellement blesser les autres.
